Nonsense

God often ask us to do things that just do not add up and even look foolish. Jericho, an enemy of God’s people stood secure in the path of the Israelites and Joshua.

“Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.” Joshua 6:1-2

 The strategy God gave them in human eyes was nonsense. They had to march around the city wall for seven days and seven times on the seventh day and then shout. It worked, the wall collapsed.

We all have “walls” that seem to be immovable yet it’s standing in our path and God wants us to go through them. God’s strategy is often confusing. But if we look at things through faith eyes and push forward, we will see that victory. We see immovable walls collapse. God says, watch this!
