As a sports fan I enjoy watching the unexpected team to come out of nowhere and defeat the team that has the best programs, athletes, coaches and are always the favorites. Unless it is my team they are playing of course.

Throughout the Bible God used the least, the unexpected, the forgotten and the imperfect to do the unimaginable. Even in the genealogy of Jesus we see people who failed, people who no one expected to be mentioned and even a prostitute. Then Christ came in a manger in a city that was considered the least of the least in Israel.

“‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ ”Matthew 2:6

Never count yourself out because you feel you are not enough. Never think it’s too late and underestimate what God is doing in your life. What matters the most to God is our hearts. God used the willing heart, the soul that turns to Him. He loves to use the least to accomplish the possible and to confuse the wise

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” (1 Cor. 1:19).

So why not you? Don’t listen to the doubter and negative people. Keep chasing that impossible dream that God has placed in your heart. Never underestimate how your seemingly small gifts and talents God created you with can change your world.
