God Works With Us
After the idiotic event with the golden calf by Aaron and Israel while Moses was with God gathering instructions, God wanted to destroy them. Moses intercedes and God has mercy. Then Moses goes back to the mountain to get a redo and God assured him that He was going to do the supernatural through Moses so that nations would know the power of the almighty God. He was going to put fear in the hearts of Israel’s enemies.
“Behold, I make a covenant, Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.” Exodus 34:10
I connected this with what Jesus said to us later. He assures us that the impossible is in our reach.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12
Of course perspective is imperative, we must always remember that it’s for the glory of God and that others will see God working through us, it’s not about us looking good in the eyes of man. So as we look at the goals, plans, purpose in our lives, though things may look impossible with God they are not! Because of Christ we can expect the impossible, God wants to work supernaturally “with us”, things that we have never seen before. Like Moses, faithfulness and perspective is what we must be diligent to hold on to. I think the one thing Satan is always trying to do is cause us to doubt, grow reluctant and settle. May I encourage you to keep living expecting, acting on what God has put in your heart.
Live Strong!
