Nonsense

God often ask us to do things that just do not add up and even look foolish. Jericho, a enemy of God’s people stood secure in the path of what God wanted for the Israelites and Joshua.

“Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.” Joshua‬ ‭6:1-2‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

The strategy God gave them in human eyes was nonsense. They had to march around the city wall for seven days and seven times on the seventh day and then shout. It worked, the wall collapsed.

You may have “walls” that seem to be immovable standing between you and what God has put in your heart to accomplish. We ask ourselves why doesn’t God move the wall without a struggle if I am doing what He has asked me to do? We may hesitate and second guess ourselves, but the simple fact is God wants us to move toward the wall, as we do He will make a way to go through them. God’s strategy is often confusing. But if we look at things through faith eyes and push forward, we will see that victory. We see immovable walls collapse. God says, watch this!

Whatever your challenge is today, don’t stop, keep moving and watch God work!
