Strong Hands
God’s promises are applicable to us all regardless of what time in history we live. I’m finding promises that have both inspired me to keep pursing and challenging me to work hard at refining the gifts and abilities God gave me. Today I was reminded that because I belong to Him, He is the one, not me that moves mountains.
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” “‘Who are you, O great mountain? Zechariah 4:6,7
As we trust Him, He turns our struggles and rejections into blessings and rewards.
“And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.’” Zechariah 8:13
Notice the last part of that verse where we are “Not to fear” but have “strong hands”. What this spoke to me is that we are to sharpen our skills and the abilities God has given us, work hard to improve what God has given us to do right now. Be excellent in attitude, work ethics and integrity and stop doubting that He will guide us to overcome any mountains that are in our way. With God and hard work we are unstoppable. Whatever mountain that you’re looking at today be assured with God and strong hands it will come down.
“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:17
Live Strong!
